Aperture
Wide Aperture
Narrow Aperture
Aperture is the diference between a distinct and non distinct background, both are vitally important as they can be used differently to showcase the emotion that is intended in the photograph.
Shutter Speed
Slow shutter speed
Fast shutter speed
Shutter speed is the difference between a clear point in time photo, and a elongated amount of time affect the picture.
White balance
White Balance affects the balance and hue of white in the picture.
ISO
ISO affects the sensitivity of the picture through light. The picture on the far left was taken with a low ISO and it is darker than the picture on the far right which was taken with a higher ISO.
Gregory Crewdson
Crewdson's photographs usually take place in small-town America, but are dramatic and cinematic. They feature often disturbing, surreal events. His photographs are elaborately staged and lit using crews familiar with motion picture production and lighting large scenes using motion picture film equipment and techniques.
I like Crewdson's photography because of its eerie feel and every one of his photographs are full of many small details as aperture is very small in his pictures. I also like how the subjects in his pictures are immersed fully in the whole scene.
